Masía de Altea
Boutique Hotel
Web design and development for a boutique hotel in Altea, with 18th-century charm.
Restoring an 18th-century Farmhouse is, in itself, a labour of love. My task was to bring this beautiful boutique hotel to life online, creating a website that captures its artistry, its history and that unique magic found only in places with such deep roots.

On the slopes of Tossal de Calçes stands the hotel, which was once a raisin factory during the 18th century. Known as the Más de Calçes, it still features its original riurau, which is a jewel of Valencian heritage.
Bringing new life to the vineyard as part of the preservation of Altea’s historical heritage
The Masía de Altea shows that a historic building can be given a new lease of life when the experience is designed around its history.
The restoration of this neglected heritage site in Altea argues that its unique architecture is not a constraint, but rather the driving force behind the project; its proportions, materials and imperfections inspire the interior design and set the tone for the narrative, both within the physical space and in the digital realm.
The art direction ensured the visual consistency of the illustration system, designed to identify the rooms. It was key to shaping a visual narrative capable of conveying the emotional dimension of the project, creating an experience deeply connected to the project’s botanical character.
The use of colour is a strategic choice, as it serves as a means of gradual immersion, guiding the user through the navigation and helping to structure the experience.
An immersive digital experience that increases dwell time and direct bookings
